Le 25 octobre sortira une édition Super Deluxe 6CD+1LP du premier album de Queen paru en 1973. Nouveau mixage, réintégration de la chanson ‘Mad The Swine’ et nombreux bonus : demos, backing tracks, versions live à la BBC…

Queen est le 1er album de Queen. Enregistré en 1972, il sort en juillet 1973. Grace aux singles Keep Yourself Alive et Liar, l’album devient disque d’or au Royaume-Uni et aux États-Unis, et c’est depuis lors l’un des préférés des fans. Le logo Queen a été dessiné à l’origine par Freddie Mercury.
C’est le troisième album du groupe à faire l’objet du traitement Super Deluxe, et le premier à être remixé et remasterisé. Pour l’occasion il est rebaptisé Queen I. L’édition Super Deluxe présente l’album sous un nouveau jour, grâce à un nouveau mixage réalisé à partir des bandes multipistes, et à la réintégration à sa place prévue à l’origine de la chanson Mad The Swine.
