La B.O. du film “Zappa“ sort demain

Le documentaire Zappa réalisé par Alex Winter est sorti en fin d’année aux Etats-Unis. La bande son est disponible ce 19 février.

Grâce à un accès privilégié aux archives de la famille, ZAPPA expose la vie privée de Frank Zappa au-delà de son immense carrière musicale et de ses combats politiques. Le réalisateur Alex Winter a réuni Gail Zappa, sa veuve, et plusieurs de ses collaborateurs musicaux, dont Mike Keneally, Ian Underwood, Steve Vai, Pamela Des Barres, Bunk Gardner, David Harrington, Scott Thunes, Ruth Underwood, Ray White et d’autres pour nous parler de Frank.

La BOF est le compagnon idéal de ce documentaire, celle-ci est proposée en version luxe 3 CD ou 5LP, avec 69 titres dont 12 enregistrements inédits extraits des archives ainsi que la prestation au Saturday Night Live en 1978.
