200 Motels le film de Frank Zappa est sorti en 1971. Keith Moon y interprète une nonne nymphomane et Ringo Starr y joue Frank Zappa lui-même. Ce documentaire surréaliste évoque la folie des tournées de The Mothers of Invention.

A l’occasion des cinquante ans de 200 Motels, l’album a été remasterisé par Bernie Grundman, et il est réédité à l’identique avec l’affiche du film.
